The event takes place annually in the second half of July.
The location
The Summer University is located at Luminy Campus in Marseille. Workshops and parties take place at the Fine Arts College and accommodation in single student rooms on the campus.
The event itself
The installation occurs in the first three days.
Then comes the opening general assembly, followed by a week of workshops and activities, which are organized in the morning and in the afternoon. Expect a party and cultural events every night (concerts, DJs, cabaret, performances, movie festival…)
General assemblies are held daily so that all participants can share important information and prepare for next days.
There’s a symposium in the middle of the week, generally downtown, with guests lecturers.
The week ends with the closing general assembly, at which annual accounts are approved as well as the designation of new board members.
The last three days are dedicated to cleaning and uninstalling.
