The UEEH is a non for profit organisation. As such, they have articles of association, submitted at the prefecture, and they also have a charter to which each participant is required to subscribe. Members (called participants) are natural persons, thus associations cannot be members.
They are administered between the demonstrations by the Board of Administration (CA), which is a team mandated by the participants at the General Closure Assembly, which takes place at the end of the UEEH week.
The UEEH are what they are today thanks to the support of institutional partners but also the support of various associations and collectives.
Since 2003, they develop a self-managed project about feminist values. It is also the date at which the association has chosen not to work with employees.
