Registrations for non-European participants
For registrations by non-European participants, there are various registration procedures.
Local coordinations
In principle, registrations by non-European participants are handled through a local coordinator, who is responsible for selecting the participants they wish to invite.
For security reasons, the list of local coordinators who are partners of the UEEH is not published on our website.
If you know the local coordinator in your country of residence, we invite you to contact them directly.
If you do not know them, or if you are unsure whether a local coordination exists in your country of residence, you can email us at international@ueeh.net, and we will be able to provide you with further information.
- If there is a local coordination group in your country of origin, we will forward your application to the local coordinator, who will assess your application and assist you with the administrative procedures if your application is successful.
- Unfortunately, for this year, since COMIN (the UEEH international commission) registers earlier than participants from Europe, it is too late, but your application will still be forwarded to the coordination team in your country to facilitate prioritisation for a future edition.
Grants and costs coverage
Please note that the organisers do not provide full or partial grants for participation in the UEEH. The UEEH cannot cover visa fees, registration fees, return travel tickets, travel insurance, or even daily allowances. Please check with your local coordinators; in some countries, embassies or LGBT organisations may be able to help fund your participation.
Registration protocol
If there is no local coordination group in your country:
- If you wish to attend the event with a view to setting up a local coordination group, please email us at international@ueeh.net; we will put you in touch with coordinators from countries near yours. They will assess your application, and the COMIN* support group can assist you with your visa application and help you find ways to fund your participation.
- If you simply wish to attend the event as a participant, please also email international@ueeh.net. For security reasons, we will need to ask you for some information, or require a recommendation from other local coordinators, members of the UEEH, or members of the diaspora.
If this is the case, the support group will be able to assist you with your visa application if necessary, but will not be able to help you find funding.
* The international commission’s “support group” is a group of volunteers from the UEEH association who assist local coordinators in obtaining their visas.
