Questionnaire about access to money 2023

If you plan on participating in the UEEH 2023 , it’s greatly recommended to fill in this questionnaire!

INTRODUCTION

This is the first year that this type of questionnaire is proposed for the UEEH.

In 2022 we have received several feedbacks indicating that the UEEH gather people who live in very different realities and that it is complicated to situate oneself economically among the other participants.

The purpose of this questionnaire is to obtain some statistics on the economic realities of the participants, which can be used to inform the economic choices that we have to make, to ask for specific fundings or to help everyone to better situate themselves when deciding how much money to give at the registration desk.

We also hope that these reflections will feed dynamics of collective organization around the access to money during the edition (and after!), as it did for example last year during the workshop on self-managed mutual funds.

This questionnaire is :

  • Anonymous: After the edition, the results of the questionnaires will be processed and the statistics will be shared publicly. The team that will produce these statistics is committed to ensuring that there is no way to infer and access personal data related to specific individuals.
  • Optional: But highly recommended! Because questionnaires only make sense if enough people answer them...
  • There is no magic calculator at the end of the questionnaire that will tell you what rate you are supposed to choose, it will be up to you, as it always has been at UEEH.
  • Imperfect: Especially since this is the first time it’s been introduced. We need everyone’s feedback to make it more relevant!

We are aware of the fact that some questions can be invasive, especially when you are in a difficult economic situation.

If you feel that it might be difficult for you, we would suggest to sit down in a quiet place and take your time to fill it in, and we also want to remind you that in any case it is not compulsory and that nobody will check if you’ve done it or not.

It is important for us to know if there are many people who do not feel or do not want to fill in this questionnaire.

This questionnaire was written by people who live in Europe. We welcome any ideas you may have for next year that would allow us to better take into account non-European economic realities.

If the country where you live has a currency other than the euro, it would be easier for us if you can take care of the conversion. If not, please specify which currency it is
